David {My Stories Have Lame Names}

     Truth be told, he was addictive. There was something about him always made me come back just for another word, another glance, another something. And I loved it. He was a little reckless, not always watching to see if he knocked over something in a person, but he was a major sweetheart and that was problematic in the long run. Crafting something beautiful but knocking it over and breaking parts of it wasn't the most stable way to do things, but that's beside the point. David was dear and that's all that mattered to me.

     "Hey Jonathan..." He would always start, no matter the conversation, whether it be about the weird sunburn on his back or how 'hella' the stars looked when Jadyn was manipulating space prints on her computer. "Hey Jonathan, I found this comic we wrote when we were kids. Take a look. My ironicness in it is killing me," he smirked and threw the flimsy graphic novel at my forehead, causing me to react with the weirdest face that I could conjure. "Fine. But it better not be another one of those ones where you would just take your bro's search history and print it up for me to read and get in trouble for."

     I glanced at the book in my hands. 'Rockin' Superheroes in Pajamas'. Great. The memory of writing this began playing through my head, but I still opened it and began reading. Upon reaching the last page, I began to laugh. "David, this wasn't originally here," I managed to get out between fits of laughter. He turned bright red for a second, before regaining composure and smirking. "I just thought that this kid book needed something to liven it up. And I did. It's great." "David the last page is literally just us making out in brightly covered pajamas while that troll dude stands behind us throwing up." "Great, right?" I rolled my eyes. "Come here, you nerd," I said to him whilst pulling him closer to me. "Come here." "God, I'm already here." "Shut up." And I kissed David, he turning it into the best thing I've ever done in the middle of his family room. But neither of us noticed as the meteors began falling outside our window, coming closer and closer to the house we were in.
